The Story
Hi, I’m Drew. I live in Northeast Florida, and I spend as much time as I can outside: hiking trails, camping, driving back roads and putting a drone in the air wherever it’s legal to fly. The Bearded Pug is where all of that ends up.
This site was initially started as a way to share mine & Lolas’ adventures with friends & family members. After noticing the amount of ❤️ Lola get’s on social media, I started sharing our adventures to those sites as well. This is actually version 2 of this site, and honestly, I like this new version better.
Most of what you’ll read here covers Florida and the Southeast, with the occasional long road trip thrown in. I like a trail with a story behind it, so expect some history with your hiking.
Meet Lola
Princess Lola Von Biscuit is my pug, my co-pilot and honestly, the real reason anyone reads this site. 🤣 She rides along on most trips, and every spot she’s visited gets her face pinned on the map.
Lola was born on September 19th 2025 in Silver Springs, Florida. I picked her up (her “gotcha” day) on November 14th 2025. She’s always hyper and addicted to dad! ❤️
